To visit Lake Como means to turn out in one of the most picturesque places of Italy.
This place is an authentic luxury resort, located right at the foot of the Alps.
The branches of the lake intersect with each other, hosting the town of Belaggio, and on the other side, the south-western part of the coast, there is Como, a real treasury of historical sites and fabulous Renaissance architecture.
Lake Como is in an hour drive from Milan, that makes it possible to come here either for a day or for a longer period, if you want to explore each of the unique towns along this beautiful lake.

What to see on Lake Como
Como
First of all, visit the town of Como itself, a commune on the lake with the same name.
This wonderful Italian town in Lombardy region is beautiful because of the amazing Alpine views here. Some noble person said: "The cities of Italy are like gorgeous paintings”. It is definitely the reference to Como - everything here looks, as if it is a delightful composition of ancient buildings, dazzling nature and the setting of the Alpine foothills.

Bellagio is a relatively small town in Lombardy region (Italy). It is interesting for tourists and travelers due to it being a very typical Italian village, where you can see very interesting authentic Italian life style of its citizens. Very narrow streets and long pathways between houses, sloping roads, amazing medieval architecture, so typical for Lombardy region, – all this you can find in Bellagio.
Menaggio is another town on Lake Como. The most distinctive feature of this village is the Christian architecture of the Middle Ages and a big number of exquisite churches and cathedrals.
