Returning to a client is always a sign of a successful partnership. This October, we were honored to provide our event photographer and videographer services in Munich for the second year in a row at the Life Sciences Strategy Summit on IP & Exclusivity, which included the high-level SPC & PTE Forum.
The summit is a high-level gathering of judges, patent attorneys, and heads of medical companies. Working with such a distinguished audience requires a specific approach: a balance between high-end production and absolute discretion.
The Art of Candid Observation: Strategy for a High-Profile Audience
When your subjects are senior legal experts and prosecutors, "posing" is out of the question. These professionals value their time and space. To deliver the "candid shots" our client requested, Igor utilized a strategic technical approach.
"With such a serious audience, getting too close with a wide-angle lens can be intrusive," Igor explains. "We rely on 70-200mm telephoto lenses. This allows us to stay in the shadows and capture natural, relaxed interactions from a distance. When people don't feel the camera, they behave authentically—which is exactly what makes for a compelling event story."
Technical Precision: Lighting & Audio for Professional Interviews
The brief called for an event highlights video and a series of "Vox Pops" interviews, maintaining the signature style we established last year.
Studio Lighting on Location: To ensure the interviewees looked their best, we deployed large LED panels and professional softboxes. This created a "polished" look that matched the high organizational level of the summit.
Crystal Clear Audio: In a bustling networking environment, sound is the most fragile element. We used professional lapel microphones and advanced noise-cleaning techniques in post-production. As the saying goes in our industry: "You can cover a gap in video with B-roll, but if you lose the audio, you lose the message."

Yana focused on capturing the atmosphere and the intricate details of the summit’s organization.
