Technical Precision & Corporate Storytelling: Covering the GE Vernova Electrification Launch in Berlin

When a global leader in energy technology like GE Vernova organizes a high-level summit at their Electrification Center in Berlin, the visual coverage must match the scale of their innovation. Our mission was to document a full day of transformation, from strategic keynotes and panel discussions to exclusive tours of their advanced laboratory and factory facilities.

Our lead photographer, Yan, noted that the event offered a unique visual contrast.

"The day was a marathon of insights, starting with high-profile speakers and ending with an immersive tour of the factory’s technical spaces," says Yan. "The lighting design on stage was striking, with vibrant color installations that looked incredible but required precise technical handling. We used off-camera flash and careful color balancing to ensure that while the creative lighting was preserved, the skin tones of the CEOs and speakers remained natural and flattering."

For our videography team, the task was to produce engaging, fast-paced content that resonated with GE Vernova’s fresh, "startup-style" attitude.

"We worked with a very specific brief focusing on leadership presence and key soundbites," Igor explains. "When filming top-level executives, details matter—from the angle of the shot to the flow of the narrative. Our goal was to create a cinematic two-minute summary that showcased the coming together of energy leaders while maintaining the highest professional standards for every frame."

One of the most engaging parts of the day was capturing the Lab & Factory Tour. Documenting guests interacting with cutting-edge grid technology required a fly-on-the-wall approach, capturing genuine curiosity, intense discussions, and the hospitality that defined the event. We focused on the details: the interaction between great minds and the groundbreaking technical solutions that are driving Germany’s energy transition.
