Event Photography at Scale: Capturing the Redken Symposium 2024 in Berlin

Berlin has an energy like no other, and we were thrilled to have the opportunity to capture the Redken Symposium 2024 — a massive, high-fashion experience that took over the city's iconic Uber Eats Music Hall (formerly Verti Music Hall). Documenting this event meant diving into a world of professional artistry where 2,000 stylists from across the globe gathered for one of the most prestigious showcases in the hair and beauty industry.

Our lead photographer, Anton, was tasked with capturing every angle of this immense Berlin landmark.
"The venue is a top-tier arena for concerts, and we approached the shoot with that same level of scale," Anton explains. "From the red carpet arrivals to the intense masterclasses, the goal was to tell a 'fashion story'—capturing the bold style of the attendees and the electric energy of the venue itself."

Photographing for a brand like Redken requires a deep understanding of light and motion. Every detail of hair design, color, and texture had to be rendered with absolute clarity. Our photography strategy included:
