In October 2024, our production services were deployed at CPHI Milan, one of the world’s premier pharmaceutical exhibitions. Our mission was to deliver comprehensive, high-quality videography services for the IFF (International Flavors & Fragrances) booth, providing polished, reportage-style content directly from the heart of the trade show.

Delivering TV-Style Reportage on the Exhibition Floor
A crucial aspect of this project was the need for classic TV-style reportage. Our client required a visual narrative that was both engaging and informative, focusing on dynamic event videography and high-end field production.

Comprehensive One-Day Coverage
Working within a condensed timeframe on October 8th, our event videographer utilized a comprehensive production toolkit to document the 142.5sqm IFF booth. The on-site production elements included:
Broadcast-Quality Stand-ups: Capturing professional stand-up segments and bridges with crystal-clear audio.
Soundbite Capture: Filming targeted interviews with key personnel to reinforce the brand narrative.
Detailed B-roll: Acquiring extensive footage of the booth architecture, event signage, and cutaway shots for a rich visual library.
Professional Audio & Lighting: Ensuring all content, including voiceovers, was recorded with studio-level clarity directly at the venue.
Rapid Delivery and Technical Workflow
Success at such a large-scale event is defined by rapid turnaround times. Our workflow was optimized for speed without compromising the cinematic quality. The deliverables included a fast-edited film for immediate social media use, followed by a comprehensive post-event film three days later.
To achieve this, we utilized a high-end professional equipment suite:
Main Cameras: Panasonic s5mk2 and Panasonic s5 for exceptional dynamic range.
Audio: Rode boom microphones and DJI Mic 2 for flawless sound in a noisy exhibition hall.
Stability: DJI Ronin s2 gimbal for smooth, cinematic movement through the booth.
Lighting: Specialized 3-panel LED lighting to ensure the booth and participants looked flawless.
By managing the entire workflow from capture to the final edit, integrating lower thirds, voiceovers, and supplied footage, we provided the client with professional assets tailored for high-impact communication.
