Event Photographer & Videographer in Frankfurt: A Last-Minute Shoot at IMEX 2026

Not every project comes with weeks of planning. In May 2026, coverage at IMEX Frankfurt, the global trade show for the meetings, events, and incentive travel industry held at Messe Frankfurt, came together after the client made their decision — and chose their team — barely a day out from the event. It's a good example of how well-connected teams can join forces to deliver full coverage even when the timeline is anything but ideal.

The client settled on the shoot, and on who would cover it, just a day before the event — with a request for two videographers and one photographer. It was about as last-minute as event bookings get, and our own videographers were already committed to other projects that same week, with none free to take it on. Coverage like this only happens through a strong network of teams willing to help each other out when a client's timeline leaves no room to spare.

This is where our regular collaborators from Amsterdam came in. They took the lead on the project and handled the video side of the coverage, but they needed a local photographer in Frankfurt to complete the crew — so our photographer Denis joined them. We work with this Amsterdam-based team often on larger projects and know each other well, which made it easy to bring the two teams together quickly and deliver exactly what the client needed, without either side having to compromise on coverage.

Denis spent the shoot on-site alongside the visiting video team, covering the show through the lens of a local photographer who knows Messe Frankfurt well. Between the two teams working side by side, the client ended up with the photo and video coverage they'd asked for, despite the whole thing being decided with barely any lead time.
