Hybrid Coverage at Space Tech Expo 2025 | Event Photographer & Videographer in Bremen
One specialist, a full day on-site, and three deliverables in one go. In November 2025, our hybrid media specialist Igor headed to Bremen to provide complete photo and video coverage for a full day at Space Tech Expo, one of the city's major industry gatherings held across the Industry Hall, the Industry Conference area, and Salon Roselius.
The brief combined three formats in a single 8-hour shooting day: a full photo report of the event, a promotional aftermovie, and several interviews filmed and edited on-site — a workload that calls for exactly the kind of hybrid, do-it-all approach our team specializes in.
One Specialist, Full-Day Parallel Coverage
Igor arrived on-site shortly before midday to get set up ahead of the first session, then followed the event through every stage of its schedule — from the pitching session in the Industry Conference area, to the matchmaking session in Salon Roselius, through to the evening reception at the Parkhotel Bremen. Covering photo and video simultaneously across three different locations in one day requires careful pacing, but it also means the client gets a single, consistent visual style across the entire event rather than two separate crews working independently.
"It was a genuinely interesting and well-organized event to work on," Igor says. "The lighting throughout the venue was good, which made a huge difference — shooting photo and video at the same time is never trivial, but with a well-lit space and a clear schedule to follow, I was able to cover everything: the pitching session, the matchmaking, and the evening event at the Parkhotel, without having to choose between formats. For the interviews, I brought in additional lighting to make sure the footage held up to a proper editing pass afterward."
Interviews and the Aftermovie
Alongside the day's photo report, a key part of the assignment was gathering interview material. Igor set up additional lighting for each interview to keep the footage consistent regardless of the room, then filmed and edited several conversations with participants over the course of the day. Combined with footage from the pitching session, the matchmaking area, and the evening reception, this material was cut into a short aftermovie — giving the organizers a photo gallery, interview clips, and a highlight film from a single day of hybrid production.
