Precision and Presence: Documenting PIAE 2026 in Baden-Baden

The task for our event photographer in Baden-Baden was highly structured and demanding. The objective was to create a comprehensive visual directory of all exhibitors within a compact 4-hour window. The requirements were precise: two specific motifs per stand—one wide shot of the booth architecture and one professional group/team photo of the staff on site. This type of high-volume documentation requires exceptional technical precision, organization, and a fast pace to ensure no exhibitor is missed.

While the technical requirements were strict, we believe that professional event photography should always offer more than just a checklist. Kongresshaus Baden-Baden, located in the scenic spa town near the French border, provided a surprisingly bustling and densely packed environment, which Yana captured flawlessly.

"The PIAE exhibition was incredibly crowded and lively," says Yana. "The program was dense, and despite the compact space, the atmosphere was highly interactive. It’s always difficult for a seasoned photographer to just stick to a shotlist and ignore the amazing connections being made! While I captured the specific stand and team photos required for all 60 clients, I also ensured we documented the genuine networking on the stands, the interaction with visitors, and the intricate, innovative design details that made this exhibition so unique. We always try to do more for our clients than just the bare minimum".
