Event Photographer and Videographer Bern: Corporate, Congress and AGM Photography

Bern isn't Switzerland's biggest city or its financial center — it's the federal one. The Bundeshaus and Bundesplatz sit at the heart of it, more than eighty embassies operate here, and the Universal Postal Union has run its global operations from Bern since 1874. That gives the city a category of events none of our other Swiss locations really have: state visits, federal and cantonal government functions, diplomatic receptions, and — because Bern is neutral, central, and easy to reach from every canton — the default host city for national association assemblies and federation congresses.

Our event photographer and videographer in Bern works both ends of that spectrum: the formality of an official reception on Bundesplatz, and the procedural rhythm of a members' general assembly where the board, the vote count, and the signed resolution all need to be documented correctly, not just photographed nicely.

AGM, Assembly & Association Congress Photography in Bern

Alongside conferences and corporate events, a regular part of our work in Bern is covering Generalversammlungen (AGMs) and Delegiertenversammlungen (DVs) for national associations, federations, and professional bodies. It's a format with its own visual requirements, different from a standard conference gallery:

  • Procedural accuracy: Clear shots of votes, motions, and the board being formally elected or confirmed — the kind of images that end up in the annual report, not just the photo gallery.
  • Speaker and board portraits: Clean, usable headshots of the president, board members and keynote guests, delivered in a format ready for statutes, newsletters, and press use.
  • Full-room documentation: Wide shots of the assembly hall that show scale and attendance, useful for member communications the following year.
  • Discretion during closed sessions: Many federation congresses include non-public agenda items — we know when to step outside and when it's fine to keep shooting.

Bern's Business Event Calendar and the Venues We Know

As an event photographer and videographer in Bern, we're on-site often enough to know the city's key venues and their annual fixtures well:

  • BEA: Bern's own trade and consumer fair, running since 1951 and now in its 70s of editions — ten days, hundreds of thousands of visitors, and one of the largest fair footprints in the country at BERNEXPO.
  • Kursaal Bern: Twenty-seven meeting and congress rooms under one roof, from the historic Casino halls to the modern Arena, hosting everything from AGMs to full-scale congresses for up to 1,400 guests.
  • BERNEXPO & the new Festhalle: Switzerland's largest outdoor exhibition footprint, with a new festival hall (opened 2025) built to hold up to 9,000 people for large corporate and public events.
  • Schloss Hünigen: A 16th-century castle just outside the city, popular for board retreats and smaller off-site meetings that want a different setting from a downtown congress room.

Wherever your event sits on that list, we've shot rooms like it before and know what each one needs from a crew.

Meet the Bern Event Photography and Video Team

The same core team that covers Zurich and Central Switzerland works as our event photographer and videographer in Bern:

  • Anton — event photographer, experienced with large-scale congresses, trade fairs and full-day conference coverage.
  • Yana — event photographer, focused on speaker portraits, board and delegate photography, and reception/networking coverage.
  • Denis and Igor — hybrid photographers/videographers, each able to cover both photo and video on a single booking, so you don't need to hire two separate crews for one event.

For congresses and multi-day assemblies, we scale this core team up with additional photographers and videographers from our wider Swiss network, coordinated so coverage stays consistent across every room and every day.

Hire an Event Photographer or Videographer in Bern

Whether it's a Bundesplatz reception, an association's annual general meeting, or a full congress at Kursaal Bern or BERNEXPO, tell us the format and the delegate count and we'll size the crew to it. We run the same flat rate and no-travel-fee policy across all of Switzerland, so a Bern booking costs no more than one in Zurich or Basel.

FAQ — Event Photography and Videography in Bern

How much does an event photographer or videographer in Bern cost?

Our corporate photography rate is €300 per hour, with a 4-hour minimum booking. A full 8-hour day of coverage is €2200 (150+ retouched photos, delivery within 3 days), dropping to €1800 per day for two or more consecutive days. An additional hour is €200.
Does the price change because Bern isn't one of the larger Swiss business hubs?

No — we run one flat rate across all of Switzerland, Bern included, with no travel or transport costs added to the invoice regardless of venue.
Do you offer both event photography and videography in Bern?

Yes — every booking can include photography, video, or both. Our hybrid photographers, Denis and Igor, cover photo and video simultaneously on a single booking, so you don't need to hire two separate crews for one event.
Can you photograph a Generalversammlung or Delegiertenversammlung specifically?

Yes — AGMs and DVs are some of the most common bookings we get in Bern. We shoot with the procedural side in mind: board elections, vote counts, and clean speaker portraits your association can reuse in its annual report, alongside the usual atmosphere and networking shots.
Can we add a second photographer or a dedicated videographer?

A second photographer is €250 per hour for denser coverage of a large congress or assembly. A dedicated videographer starts from €2000 per day. For smaller budgets, our hybrid photographers Denis or Igor can cover photo and video in a single booking
How fast do we get the photos and video?

Standard delivery is 3 days for both photo galleries and edited video. If you need a same-day recap — for a press release or a same-evening internal update — rush editing is available as a paid add-on.
Can closed sessions or non-public agenda items stay off the record?

Yes. Our crew steps out for confidential agenda items as a matter of course, and for fully private or confidential events we offer a shooting option where none of the material is used in our portfolio or on social media, at 30% above the standard rate.
