Charles Bridge during the dawn is an excellent location for the proposal. In winter it is 8 a.m. and in summer it is 6 a.m. It is s full of people during the day, so that you can hardly stand in a romantic position on your knees in front of your girlfriend in the middle of the crowd.

You can make a proposal on the terrace of the restaurant “U Prince” booked in advance. This cute place has a table for 2 in the corner of the roof.

Vrtba Garden is known as one of the most picturesque locations in Prague. It is open from April until October from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

It t is not very crowded as it has entrance fees. It features plenty of quiet corners and panoramic terraces with the view on the famous house roofs of Prague.

You can climb on top of Prague Castle through the old castle stairs, to get an excellent view on the entire city.

Already from 10 a. m. it is full of people, so, better to plan your proposal for the early morning.

The territory of the castle itself is always crowded and busy which is not very romantic, but there is couple of nice spots with blooming magnolias right behind the walls.

On the Petrin Hill below Strahov Monastery there is a very good panoramic terrace, Grande Classic Panorama. You can have a meal or some drinks in the restaurant called “Bellavista Prague” with a really magnificent city panorama.

A table with the view should be booked in advance.

A bit lower the restaurant there is a terrace with free entrance without tables but with exactly the same amazing view.

The riverside with the view of Charles Bridge is one of the most popular locations in Prague. Here you can feed swans and seagulls, but this is not the best location for the proposal with the coming out on the surface tree roots and the crowd of tourists. You can stop here to see the birds but surely you will get dirty with mud in case you decide to stand on your knees to make a proposal.
